Darfield village lies on the A635 some five miles from Barnsley. We are readily accessible from the M1; and the A1(M) and other trunk routes. Brown Tourist signs indicate the way to the Museum.
Parking is available in the Church Hall car park across from the Museum. Please note that during church occasions the car park may be full but street parking is available in this event.
The Museum is easily accessible by public transport. The buses 218, 219 and X19 all travel to Darfield from Barnsley Interchange and stop at walking distance from the Museum. Use this journey planner to plan your route on public transport.
